It was the year 2010 when I got posted to Dehradun. I started to look around to find the right school for my daughter. A lot of research went in and then someone suggested me about Sherwood Public School. I vividly remember my first interaction with Madam Principal, the staff & on taking a tour around the premises. I knew there and then that this was the School I wanted as a parent, for my child. We are incredibly blessed that both my children did their preschool from here. It was the extra quality care that the school provided which made it a special place for both my kids. To say that both of them enjoyed their time here is an understatement. The genuine affection and concern that the teachers and the staff showed truly made this school my children’s “home away from home.” I could not have chosen a better place to nurture the development, creativity & well- being of my children.

Sherwood Public School is one of the best schools in Dehradun. Absolutely love this school, wonderful community & fantastic teachers. The staff is very pleasant and the teachers are experienced. I am so impressed at how well the staff interacts with the children. Best part is the activity based learning which encourages expression and creative skills amongst the children. My son was very happy with the school and the teachers. As a parent we were fully satisfied with the school and the curriculum.

The story of Robin Hood and Sherwood Forest was then chosen as the defining theme of the school as we wanted the children to experience a green and a beautifully kept school as part of their growing up years.
